Display and currency policy
- Money inputs identify whether the user is entering CAD or USD.
- Approved monetary outputs are normalized and displayed in USD.
- Optional blank, none, and 0 values represent no value when the tool allows them.
- The CAD/USD reference widget uses a Bank of Canada daily observation, refreshes after 24 hours, and can show a visibly stale cached rate for up to 7 days when refresh fails. Missing or expired data disables conversion instead of using a fabricated fallback.
